San Diego is extremely busy this weekend and the surrounding weeks. ComicCon is the following weekend, and it's one of the top tourist weeks of the year. If you want/can stay longer, arriving early or leaving later is a good option. The hotel room block is available for dates between 7/17 and 7/24.
Some of our guests are planning to stay until at least Tuesday the 23rd. We are planning to go to the San Diego Safari Park and nearby wine tasting, along with other things to do.

We have reserved a hotel block at the Hyatt La Jolla and saying here is highly recommended. Most hotels have been booked months in advance (trust us on this) due to the convention, meetings, and summer vacation. There are other options near Pacific Beach (PB) and Ocean Beach (OB) as well as AirBnB for groups if you want to go that route.
Room rate is guaranteed through Saturday June 15th (6/15).
Reservations at the block rate are available from 7/17 to 7/24. Cost is approx $367.40/night all-in: $299 room + $27 destination fee + taxes. Overnight self-parking has been discounted to $25/night.

How to Get There
Hotel Shuttle
A private shuttle will be provided between the hotel and venue. The shuttle will depart promptly at the following times:
- 3:20 PM
- 3:55 PM
- 9:30 PM
- 10:00 PM
Venue Parking
A limited number of permit parking spots are available We have around 20 permits on-hand, so please see the event coordinator (Mary) at the entrance of the venue to get a permit before parking. She can instruct you where the nearby lots are located.
